You are invited to be part of The Farm by becoming a Farmette of The Table Urban Farm!

The Farmette Program is a community farming initiative where a landowner farms their land in partnership with The Table

  • What we are looking for:
    • Available garden space of at least 200 square feet
    • Commitment to:
      • Plant, tend, and harvest crop
      • Deliver a portion of your harvest to Veggie Bike at scheduled times
      • Document experience via photos
      • Volunteer at Veggie Bike at least once during the season
      • Attend orientation meeting and be responsive to communications from farm staff
  • We are accepting 15 Farmettes this year: 5 early-season (harvest by end of June), 5 mid-season (harvest mid-June through early August), and 5 late-season (harvest late-August through mid-October).
  • We will provide the seed/plants for you to sow. There will also be flowers available to beautify your space and attract pollinators.
  • You may choose one crop in your selected season from the list below to grow. All crop varieties offered will be one harvest crop, not continual harvest crops like green beans.
    • Early-season (Lettuce, Arugula, Radish, Kohlrabi, Spinach)
    • Mid-season (Carrots, Salad Turnips, Cabbage, Beets)
    • Late-season (Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Melons, Garlic, Onions)
  • We will offer support and guidance for you to have a successful growing experience.
  • You have the opportunity to actively engage in the garden and reap the wonderful health and wellness benefits associated with gardening.
